Mark Bloom and Larry Papel have added to their downtown property holdings.

Nashville Post reports that the co-founders of the real estate investment group Corner Partnership paid $6.3 million for the downtown building at 131 Second Ave.

The 14,350-square-foot building, opened in 1900, is currently vacant, the Post reports.

“We bought it as an investment and … think there are values on Second Avenue, which we feel is improving,” Bloom told the Post.
